Quality Assurance April 2008
Scion-Sprays recognizes that component cleanliness is crucial to the performance, durability, and reliability of our product.
As a Company we have chosen to work to a new international cleanliness standard, BS EN ISO 16232:2007, “Road vehicles — Cleanliness of components of fluid circuits”, which expresses the total cleanliness of a product as a CCC number (Component Cleanliness Code). We are currently working with several specialist companies to achieve the best solution for effective and efficient component cleaning, in a production environment, and how this process can be built into the Scion-Sprays PCI (Pulse Count Injection) assembly process.
Initial trials have been completed with regard to the testing of product for component cleanliness. Particle Technology Ltd, have analysed our product and recommended a “Component Cleanliness Analyser”, an integrated testing solution offering excellent repeatability and reproducibility.
