Testing has continued on motorcycle applications up to 250cc. Ben Smither, Research Engineer, remarked that “the installation of the Scion-Sprays fuel injection system onto a high revving 125cc four stroke motorcycle engine has demonstrated the ability to meet the feature requirements of this demanding market”. Key features include: closed loop running with a narrow band O2 sensor, high speed running (11,000 rpm) and good throttle response. Future work will look at installation onto a 250cc motorcycle.
