Warner Philips visits Scion-Sprays Ltd - 14 July 2008
Having recently become a Company shareholder, Warner Philips was welcomed by the Scion-Sprays team in July to get a flavour of our activities and to view at first hand our operating facility and the continuous development of our product.
A Director of Philips Electronics Nederland BV with extensive experience of Corporate Finance, Warner is currently based in the Netherlands but travels widely in his efforts to guide businesses in raising funds and implementing a worldwide manufacturing strategy.
A graduate of Erasmus University Rotterdam and of Columbia University Graduate School, Warner has completed internships at Burnham & Co and the Bank of America.
On joining Philips Electronics BV in 1969, Warner trained at the Head Office and held positions of responsibility for area management in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Scandinavia, Austria and Switzerland before embarking on Directorships in Philips subsidiaries in Sydney, Paris, Oslo and Toronto.
In 1986 Warner was appointed CFO and Vice Chairman of Philips AG in Zurich, a position he held until 1998.
Warner has served as Honorary Consul General of the Netherlands and as Treasurer of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.
