Small Engine Technology Conference 9 - 11 September 2008
Gavin Farmer presented a paper, Control of Fuel Vapor on Low Pressure Fuel Injection Systems for Small Engines, at the Fuel Supply Systems technical session on Wednesday, 10 September. Written by Paul Ravenhill, Tim Drake, Jeffrey Allen and Ben Smither, the paper covers ground breaking work in this area, which has enabled for the first time the creation of a non-pressurized fuel injection system that is able to cope with high temperature as well as volatile fuels. This year's event offered a full line up of presentations and covered a wide variety of topics, as well as addressing important challenges facing the small engine industry including environmental impacts, advances in two-stroke engine design, alternative fuels, motorcycle design and simulation.
The event served as an opportunity for Gavin to catch up with customers and suppliers bringing them up to date with developments within Scion-Sprays.
