EAME - 2008 16 – 19 September 2008
Scion-Sprays participated in the Exhibition of Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering – EAME, hosted by Hethel Engineering Centre to showcase the region's best manufacturing and engineering businesses.
We welcomed delegates into our workshop to demonstrate the application of the Quantum Fuel Injection™ (QFI™) product solution on a range of engines beside a working injector. Monitors illustrated the successful testing of the concept.
Former CEO of Ford, Sir Nick Scheele, opened the day-long trade and networking event on 16th September where delegates were free to peruse various trade stands, demonstrations and exhibitions covering the Marine, Aerospace and Automotive sectors.
With over 70 organisations participating, the Exhibition included a topical real advice forum on 'sustainability' with presentations given by key speakers from Lotus Cars, Future Engineering and other industry figures, academia and governing bodies. Audience members were encouraged to participate and share their views on this subject.
The Exhibition gave Norfolk schools an opportunity to gain access to the industry and aimed to engage the potential business men and women of the future. Sessions were targeted at students aged between 14-16 and 16-19 to advise on academic choices, apprenticeships and career paths.
