Dynomometer facilitates in-house emission testing
Scion-Sprays Ltd recently acquired a fully operational two wheeled rolling road dynamometer built bespoke to our requirements. The Rotronics dynamometer has been fitted with a synchronous AC motor as the method of providing load to the vehicles being tested. This special dynamometer allows Scion-Sprays to run full emission test cycles in-house because road load and vehicle inertia can be easily replicated. It is used every day and it has been invaluable in the fast turn around of engine calibrations.
