Scion-Sprays is pleased to announce that it has achieved certification to the international quality management system standard, ISO 9001:2008
The ISO 9001:2008 certificate was presented to Graham Young, Quality Assurance Manager of Scion-Sprays, by HRH Prince Andrew, The Duke of York, and Emma Fawcett-Jones, UK Business Manager of Certification International.
This award constitutes an important milestone for Scion-Sprays, and is the result of hard work by all members of the Scion-Sprays team.
The time and money saved by operating a lean quality management system, along with good communication and an open business approach will ensure that quality is a fundamental strategy for future growth and the continued success of Scion-Sprays.
Scion Sprays MD Gavin Farmer said “Scion-Sprays has always worked in a professional and organised manner, and our customers have valued this approach, so it was a natural step for us to pursue the ISO certification now as we are preparing to mass produce our engine management system products for motorcycles and utility engines”
Scion-Sprays Quality Assurance Manager Graham Young said “ISO certification will give Scion-Sprays a competitive business advantage through efficient and effective use of key processes, a more structured and focused approach to new product development, and a quality management system which will consistently deliver a conforming product time after time”
Scion Sprays PR Account Manager Allison Armstrong said “Implementing a Quality Management System will motivate staff by defining key roles and responsibilities. Cost savings will be made through improved efficiency and productivity. From this, improvements can be developed, resulting in less waste. Customers will notice that orders are met consistently, on time and to the correct specification.”
