Maurice E.P. Gunderson
Mr Gunderson is a venture capital investor with a focus on investments in new and alternative energy sources and technologies.
Mr Gunderson is currently a Venture Partner with CMEA Ventures in San Francisco. Previously he was co-founder of Nth Power, a venture capital firm specializing in investments emerging from the global restructuring of the energy industry. Prior to founding Nth Power,
Mr Gunderson spent over twenty years developing profitable products and has launched five successful companies. He is a specialist in thermodynamics and energy technologies and has been instrumental in the development of cryogenic equipment, energy systems, turbo-machinery, and computer-based control systems for process plants and pipeline systems.
Mr Gunderson received an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (1985), a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (Thermodynamics) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from Oregon State University (1974, 1975). He is a member of ASME, SAE, ASHRAE, AIAA, and AEE. He is a patent holder and a Registered Professional Engineer. He is an instrument-rated private pilot.
Mr Gunderson has served on the board of directors of several energy technology companies, including: Capstone Turbine, Electronic Power Conditioning, Pentech Solutions, NEOPhotonics, NanoGram, Metallic Power, STM Power, Pentadyne Power, H2Gen Innovations, Clean Air Power, CellTech Power, and Superprotonic.
Roy Flitton
Roy has a long experience of working in the increasingly competitive environment of the global automotive and small engine markets as Director of Original Equipment Sales.
This experience includes 20 years of living and working in France for major global OE component suppliers Valeo and Champion Spark Plugs. Roles included Supply Planning, Product Management as well as OE Sales and Application Engineering.
Prior to starting out as a consultant, Roy was European OE Sales and Business Development Director for the Automotive Components Division of Federal-Mogul Corporation. This covered all the major European OE’s and their affiliates worldwide, particularly in China, Japan, Korea, India, Mexico and Brazil.
Roy has a B. Ed from Leeds University as well as diplomas in International Business from the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris. He is fluent in French with working knowledge of Italian and Spanish.
